Aunt Ruby, I want to say thank you for always checking in on me and my son Jalen. Your phone calls always warmed my heart. I am so sorry that I didn’t get a chance to make it up there to come visit you. Hug and kiss my grandpa for me. Until we meet again. To my cousins, you have my sincere condolences. Cousins, When Karen called me to tell me Aunt Ruby had transition to her Heavenly home surrounded by the family; I pretended to be strong. But please know that I had and have my moments of grief. My plans were to come visit her when the weather got warmer sometime around June. We know our plans are not GOD plan and I am fine with that. I feel special because she would call me from time to time and say she was just calling someone in the country. We always had good country down home talks about Claiborne Town and my mom Lacie. When saying mom name she would get excited and really began to remember her times there. As a child I remember Aunt Ruby and Jocie always coming down to mom house to visit 3rd week in August or whenever they came home to visit. My mom was crazy about Ruby and I believe she was about mom. I was blessed to visit Aunt Ruby 2023 and 2024 along with my cousins. If I could have granted Aunt Ruby her wish to go back to Claibornetown to visit, it would have been icing on the cake. Cousins you were blessed with the best mom in this world. I can just imagine her as she entered the pearlie gates and saw all her siblings, husband, son family standing with open arms saying Welcome Ruby we glad to see you. Cousins here memories and lessons she taught you will always be with you. Aunt Ruby was well known by my friends, fb audience, church family, my Silver Hair Fox group because I shared my story about her with them. There are hundreds of condolence, sympathy, Love, we'll wishes, and Prayers sent by all. Our deepest condolences and prayers for a very well love, wise, cool, good looking, Aunt. We Love You, Lacie Claiborne & Roy Harrison children- Stella, Rose (Claude), Jeremiah, Velma (Bernard), Vesta & Faye (John)
