I also worked with Frank during his years at Boston University, and just recently found many of his forwarded jokes while cleaning out some old email. I'll take that as a sign that he wanted me to laugh with him again. I always enjoyed his stories and wish everyone in his family well. We will miss him.

My sincere condolences to the whole family. I worked with Frank for many years at Boston University. I relied on him more than he knew, and benefitted from his wit and wisdom. He was caring and generous and we all will miss him.

This still doesn’t feel real. You were a true American man. You wore many hats not only in the military but in life. I’m honored and blessed to call you my grandfather. I’ll always look up to you and work everyday to be remembered as the type of man you were. I’ll cherish every moment we spent together from endless hours at the tech fields training for the next season to the endless shot trays you pull from thin air. I can’t say enough about you. No christmas will be the same without you; a true life Santa Claus. You loved so much to give to others. I will do my best to fill those shoes!
In this grief I find myself with more drive and determination than the days before. I will work everyday to be the best version of myself not only for me but my family. I’m so thankful you got to spend these first couple months of Ryders life watching him start to evolve so quickly. I’ll make sure he knows all about his badass papa. It’s never goodbye, it’s I’ll see you later. I love you

You did it your way. I had to work for you, and it was worth it. I finally got your attention and it has been a beautiful journey. We had kids that I am so happy to call ours. The bond is unbreakable no matter how far apart. I know by all the signs I asked for that you are at rest and I will love you FOREVER. Wait for me...

There are so many memories, that I can't choose just one. But, I'll carry every one of them with me always.
Thank you for being the greatest Dad that a girl could have.
You taught me to be self-sufficient, determined, to ask questions, to always trust my gut, to take care of and be backup for the people I love. That words only matter when there's action to affirm them.
You showed love by being of service.
By taking care of people, by offering to help with anything and everything and often by jumping in and doing without offering because you had an uncanny ability to know exactly what was needed in every situation.
You were full of heart, and the toughest, most uniquely capable person I've ever known.
There's an odd kind of wisdom in grief. It brings you deeper into and closer to life, not further from it.
I once read a quote saying that grief is unexpressed love. Essentially that it was love with nowhere to go. But, I don't think that fits. I think it just feels that way at first and that it's a matter of relearning how to express that love when that person is no longer here in the physical sense.
It's a lesson that I don't f*cking want to learn.
But, anyone that knows you will know what you'd say to that.
I miss you, Dad.
I'll always miss you and I'll always Love you.
