Obituary of John James Donnelly



John James Donnelly, 60, of Norfolk VA, peacefully passed away on the morning of July 3, 2025. 

John was born in Boston, MA on October 29, 1964, and was the son of the late Edward and Mary (McCarthy) Donnelly. He was raised in Scituate, and graduated from Scituate High School. John was a proud graduate of the University of Massachusetts - Boston where he earned his degree in Management and met his lifelong friend Micheal Distephano. John entertained many career paths and was most proud of his work as a dedicated electrician on US Navy vesicles. 

 

John was the beloved father of Mary E. Donnelly, of Medford. John was the brother of Mark and Deana Donnelly, and uncle of Colin and Caroline Donnelly.

 

Funeral Mass on  August,20,2025 at 11 AM, at St. Mary of the Nativity, 1 Kent Street, Scituate Harbor.
