Obituary of Patricia C. Poley

Patricia C. (Johnson) Poley, age 79 of Billerica, died August 24, 2025, at Lowell General Hospital, suddenly. She was born in Boston, June 4, 1946, the daughter of the late Albert and Jessie (Paterson) Johnson. She was the beloved wife of John F. Poley. Devoted mother of John Poley and his companion, Dixie Jo Ray of South Carolina, David Poley of East Kingston, NH and Paul Poley of Billerica. Loving grandmother of Jake Poley of Billerica and Paul Poley, Jr. of Bangor, Maine. Loving sister of Frances Blais of Peabody and Albert Johnson and his wife, Susan of North Hampton. Also survived by a niece and nephews. Patricia enjoyed reading, ice skating as well as teaching it, throughout her life. She also worked for Meals on Wheels, delivering meals throughout the Billerica area for over 20 years, receiving an award when she retired. Funeral mass will be held, Saturday, September 6, 2025, at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish in St. Theresa’s Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10:00 AM.
