David Lyford Howe

May 10th 1948 -September 28th, 2025

David Howe, of Billerica MA, passed peacefully at his home on Sunday, Sept. 28th, 2025. He was 77 years old. He had bravely fought multiple cancers over the last nine years and is now at peace.

David is preceded in death by his parents and his beloved daughter, Brittany. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Annette Howe, of Billerica MA; his daughter Cara Howe and son in law Brian Topping and grandson Ryan of Dunstable MA; and his daughter Jacqueline Howe, son in law Pablo Neiva and grandsons Lucas and Jacob of Groton MA. He will be missed by his siblings, Dorothy Kremple, Kenneth Howe, Kathy Nilep and Colleen Garland as well as many family and friends who loved him dearly.

David grew up in North Dakota and he loved having a good adventure. He was an outdoorsman growing up and was a proud Boy Scout in his youth. He was a free soul and enjoyed many experiences traveling across the country hitch hiking and meeting people. He loved to tell stories, and he lived life fully and with no regrets.

David had many jobs in his life and owned his own printing business for many years, CHF.  He loved learning new technologies and continued to keep up with fabric and 3D printing and was always a life-long learner. He enjoyed discussing and keeping up with sports, politics, history and current events and was always happy to chat and share his opinions.

David’s passing leaves a large void for his family as he has always been the strength, love and security for them. His calm presence and confident demeanor were cherished, and we know he is on his next adventure down the road we all must travel.

Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, October 4th at Burns Funeral Home, 354 Boston Road, (Rt. 3A) Billerica from 12;00-2:00pm. Relatives and friends are invited to his service as well as a celebration of life at the Emerald Rose from 2:00-4:00pm. www.burnsfuneralhomes.com
