Obituary of Kathryn A. Dunbeck

Kathryn Ann Fillis Dunbeck of Billerica was born on September 20, 1945, and passed away peacefully at Lahey Hospital in Burlington on January 29, 2025, at the age of 79. Kathryn lived a rich and wonderful life—she graduated from Pinkerton Academy’s class of 1964, married her late husband, Stephen W. Dunbeck, Jr. of Wakefield, and built a loving family. She leaves behind two sons, grandchildren, many extended family members, and countless friends. Known as a mother, wife, sister, grandmother, godmother, cousin, aunt, and friend, Kathryn’s unforgettable personality and quick wit brought joy to everyone around her. We feel deeply grateful to have shared our lives with such a cherished person.

A graveside service will be held at Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica on Saturday, October 18th, at 10:30 a.m. Following the service, the family invites everyone to a Celebration of Her Life at the Billerica Elks, 14 Webb Brook Rd., from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.; all friends and family are welcome to attend.
