Rose-Ann Neesha Williams, 40, of Middlebury, passed away on November 10, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of creativity, generosity, and deep devotion to her family. Her life was a beautiful tapestry woven from her Jamaican roots, her passion for her craft, and the love she carried for those around her.
Born on March 23, 1985, at Nuthall Medical Center in St. Andrew Parish, Jamaica, Rose-Ann spent her early childhood in a lively and close-knit community. She began her education at Louisa-Haywood Basic School, continued at Francis Basic School, and later attended Ewarton Primary School. In 1998, at the age of 13, Rose-Ann moved with her family to Waltham, Massachusetts. There, she continued her education at South Middle School and Waltham High School. Even as a student, she pursued her passion for beauty and self-expression, taking courses at Middlesex Community College that contributed to her early path toward cosmetology. Rose-Ann fulfilled her dream when she graduated from Blaine Cosmetology School, earning her license in cosmetology and hairstyling—a milestone that would shape the rest of her life.
Rose-Ann built an accomplished and admired career in cosmetology. She worked in several salons before opening her first business in 2018, an achievement that reflected both her talent and her determination. Later, she founded Root 62 Salon in Middlebury, a thriving and beloved studio where she poured her creativity into her clients and community. Her work was not just a profession but a true expression of her artistry, warmth, and care.
Rose-Ann’s creativity extended far beyond the salon. She loved hosting gatherings and took pride in decorating her home for celebrations, creating spaces filled with beauty and joy. A skilled cook, she brought family and friends together over meals made with love. She enjoyed traveling and explored destinations around the world, including meaningful trips to Ghana and Costa Rica.
Above all, Rose-Ann was a devoted mother and wife. Her children were the center of her world, and she enriched their lives through shared activities, quality time, and unwavering love. Her home was always a place of support, encouragement, and laughter.
