Obituary of Alice May Clark
Alice May Pride Clark 94 of Billerica Mass passed away at home with family at her side on December 8,2025. She was a cherished Mother,Grandmother ,Great grandmother, Sister,Auntie and Friend. Alice was a very loving and kind individual who's presence will be deeply missed.
Alice was born on May 17,1931 in Somerville Mass. She was the first child of Cecil and Alice Pride. They moved to Winchester when she was a child where she joined Rainbow Girls and graduated from Winchester High School. She married Leonard W. Clark on February 18,1950 and they moved to Billerica. Alice has lived in the house they built together for 68 years. Alice was a member of the North Billerica Baptist Church where she had a strong Church family. Her Faith was an important part of her life which she learned from her parents. She was also a member of the Billerica Chapter of The Eastern Star. After raising her family Alice worked for many years at several Electronics companies in the area.
The most precious thing to Alice was her family. She loved being a mother, she would always say the greatest gift she was given was her 6 children: Darcey and David Harrold, Dane and Donna Clark, Deanna Clark, Glenn and Pamela Clark, Gregg Clark and his partner Lisa Farmer, Alison Clark and her partner William Meech. 15 grandchildren: Dane Clark,Kristen Clark and her fiance' Ryan Hughes,Shaun and Beth Goguen,David and Sheila Harrold,Leanne and David Arbour,Jaclyn and David Sierra, Lyndsie DeCologero and her fiance' Vincent Boarini,Brittany and Dennis Ferrick ,Zachary and Vanessa Clark,Anthony DeCologero,Dylan Clark and his wife Holly Roberts,William DeCologero,Ryan Clark,Peri Clark and Amelia Clark. 15 Great grand children:Gavin Harrold, Hannah Goguen, Jack Goguen,Anna Harrold,Ryder Arbour,Marcus Clark,Grace Harrold,Collin Clark,Kalypso DeCologero,Adrian Sierra,Calvin Ferrick,Lacey Ferrick, Blaize DeCologero,Autumn DeCologero, Mickey Ferrick. She is survived by her brother Robert and Helen Pride , numerous nieces and nephews as well as her Church Family.
Alice spent a majority of her summers in Ocean Park, Maine. She first traveled to Ocean Park with her family as a young girl;as a teen she worked in a few of the local seasonal restaurants and that is where she met her husband Lenny Clark. Ocean Park became a family gathering place every summer. She enjoyed early morning walks, spending days at the beach; going to the library; ice cream sundaes at The Soda Fountain; attending plays at The Ogunquit Playhouse; Pier Fries and Pizza in Old Orchard; along with the 4th of July Parade in which she walked in every year until 5 years ago.
Besides her parents Alice was predeceased by her husband Leonard Clark,her sister Muriel Lassiter, her brother Cecil Pride, and her sister in law Harriet Pride.
Alice touched many lives in her 94 years. Everyone who met her loved and adored her smile, beautiful blue eyes and her kindness. Visiting hours will be held in the Burns Funeral Home, 354 Boston Road, (Rt 3A) Billerica, Monday December 15th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends invited. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday December 16th in the North Billerica Baptist Church, 39 Old Elm St., Billerica at 10:00 AM. Interment, North Cemetery, Billerica.
