Adrienne “Kitchie” Lemos

Adrienne “Kitchie” Lemos, 93, of Billerica, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on March 1st with her loving family by her side. Born Adrienne Dussault on February 7, 1933, in Somerville, MA., she was the beloved daughter of Dorothy and Albert Dussault. Known affectionately to family and friends as “Kitchie,” she carried that warmth and familiarity throughout her life, earning the love and admiration of all who knew her. 

Kitchie was the devoted wife of her late husband, William, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and partnership. Together they built a family grounded in devotion, strength, and enduring commitment. She is survived by her daughter, Debra Kelly and her husband Michael of New Boston, NH; her son William and his wife Deborah of York, ME; and her son Robert of Lowell, MA; her sister,  Barbara of Haverhill, MA; her three cherished grandchildren, Kimberly, David, and Jessica; and her two beloved great-grandchildren, Abrah and Kolbi. 

Kitchie especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and pride. She always enjoyed spending time in Maine, cherishing the peace it gave her. Nothing made her happier than sharing special moments with her family. She was always thinking of others—offering a kind word, a thoughtful gesture, or simply being present when someone needed her. Her love for her family was the center of her world, and her generosity of spirit touched everyone who knew her.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday March 5th from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at Burns Funeral Home, 354 Boston Road, (Rt. 3A), Billerica. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, March 6th at 10:00 AM at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish in St. Theresa's Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica. Relatives and Friends invited. Interment, Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.

She will be remembered for her gentle heart, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her legacy of kindness and selflessness will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
