Edward F. Dahl (1948–2026)

Edward F. Dahl, age 78, of Londonderry, NH formerly of Cambridge, died on Saturday, March 28, 2026, in the Kaplin Family Hospice House in Danvers.

Edward was the beloved son of the late Herbert and Hazel Dahl. He is survived by his loving sister, Patricia Dahl of Stoneham. He was also preceded in death by his siblings Robert Dahl, Richard Dahl, William Dahl, Marie Rauscher, and Dorothy Malone.

Edward graduated from Rindge Technical High School, class of 1965, where he was a member of the National Honor Society.

Following his graduation, Edward joined the United States Army. He served in the maintenance of the Nike Guided Missile system and worked in missile ordinance until he was honorably discharged.

In 1980, Edward began his career with the Cambridge Fire Department. After many years of dedicated service, he retired as a Fire Lieutenant. Visiting hours will be held at Burns Funeral Home, located at 354 Boston Road (Route 3A), Billerica, on Wednesday, April 1, at 10:00 AM. A prayer service will follow at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will take place at Cambridge Cemetery with military honors.
