My Aunt Elearnor was the sweetest, kindest person and also could be very funny. I can remember, being around 10 years old and sitting next to her and my brother Fred and she would be telling stories about her Saturday nights at Mosley's. (A dance Club in Dedham) She would make Fred laugh so hard. I wish we had recorded her! I always loved her stories! My mother was living with her father's family when Phyllis and Eleanor were very small. A favorite radio show in the 1940's was called Baby Snooks. My mother loved that show and began calling Elearnor, Baby Snooks. Soon Phyllis began calling her Snooky. The name stuck and the family has always affectionately called her Snooky. When i was in High school, she asked me to be a bridesmaid in her wedding to Mike. I was so honored! My very first time as a bridesmaid! You always treated us will love and kindness and my brothers and my sister and I loved you very much! Thank you Snooky! Love, Carol
