Entered Christ’s kingdom peacefully on September 9, 2026.

Brian was a loving son to Barbara McCarthy, Kevin McCarthy, and his father, Curt Grubb.

He was a wonderful brother to Brenda McGann and a beloved stepbrother, uncle, and friend to many.

He was the greatest, goofiest, and most loving father to Alexa and Bradley McGann.

Brian deeply loved his family and friends.

Brian was a special soul who loved cheering on the Bruins and Patriots and spending time in Maine with family and friends. A terrific golfer both on his phone and on the course, he also cherished day trips with his children. Generous and funny, Brian gave freely, brought laughter to those around him, and left a lasting impact on everyone he met. He will be lovingly missed by all.

Visiting hours will be held at Burns Funeral Home, 354 Boston Rd. (Rt. 3A), Billerica, on Wednesday, September 16, from 9:30 to 11:30 AM, followed by a funeral Mass at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish in St. Theresa’s Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica, at 12:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited.
