Obituary of Sofia Rose Jaskowiak

Sofia Rose Jaskowiak passed away on September 27, 2026, at age 12.  A spirited little fighter, Sofia, had a smile that could light up a room. From birth, she bravely faced many illnesses and endured a long, difficult journey. When her body grew tired, she told us it was her time. She is now at peace with the angels.

Sofia is survived by her mother and father, Liz and Shane Jaskowiak; her older siblings, Sarah and Zack Jaskowiak; her Nana and Grampie, Mary and Bert Burgoyne; her Gammy, Denise Gordon; her aunt and uncle, Jess and Kevin Roy; her uncle, Bob Burgoyne, and aunt, Jen Godin; and her cousins, who meant the world to her: Gabrielle, Michelle, Jacqueline, Joe, Madeleine, Raelyn, and Maria.

Visiting hours will be held Friday, October 2, from 8:45 to 10:00 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 354 Boston Rd. (Route 3A), Billerica. A funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. at St. Matthew the Evangelist Church in St. Andrew's Parish, 45 Talbot Ave., North Billerica. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Chelmsford.
