Obituary of Christopher N. Muraca
Christopher N. Muraca, of Billerica, age 29, died unexpectedly Tuesday, January 8, 2019. He was the beloved son of Maria (Petrillo) Muraca of Medford and Mario Muraca of Billerica. Born in Winchester, November 27, 1989, Chris grew up in Billerica where he attended the Hajjar Elementary School and Marshall Middle School. A graduate of Billerica Memorial High School, he loved and played football from the time he could walk, starting with Pop Warner and ending up as captain of the BMHS Class of 2008 team. He then attended Worcester State University. Following college, Chris started his career at UPS, Billerica as a manager for many years. He then began his career in the insurance industry where he became very successful. He received many promotions and achieved the senior level as a Master General Agent at America Income Life Insurance Albert Serur Agencies in N. Attleboro. Chris really enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Besides his parents, he is survived by his brother, Tyler Muraca and his sister Gabrielle Muraca, both of Billerica; his loving grandmothers, Pasqualina Petrillo of Medford and Carmela Muraca of Cambridge; and his aunts and uncles, Carolina Muraca, Vinnie Muraca, Theresa and Bill Dioron, Mary and Ron Bravetti, Cathy Longo, Nancy and Pat Petrillo, and Guy and Raeann Petrillo. He also leaves his cousins, Anthony Corso, Jr., Nicholas Corso, Kyle Parker, Catherine Anderson, Dereck Cataldo, Frankie Cataldo, Fabio Cataldo, Caroline Doiron, Mathieu Doiron, Michael Mendes, Autumn and Mark Muraca, Ava Longo, Lauren Petrillo, Nicholas Petrillo, Mikaila Petrillo, and Guy Anthony Petrillo and his many dear friends. Funeral from the Burns Funeral Home, 354 Boston Rd., (Rt. 3A), Billerica, Monday, January 14, at 9:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Theresa’s Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours, Sunday, 4:00 – 7:00 PM.
