Obituary of James D. Scott

James D. Scott of Billerica died on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Lahey Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Born on September 21, 1977 in Lowell, he was the son of Valerie Scott (Bellamy).

James will always be remembered as a loving son, brother, and uncle. He especially enjoyed being with his niece Aubrey. He was a movie fanatic, gamer, and avid sports fan. James kept up with all sports and enjoyed watching all his Boston teams succeed. An animal lover, he always gave special attention to the family dog, Skippy.

Besides his mother, James is survived by his sister Lynne Burns and her husband Robert of Billerica, and his niece Aubrey Burns.

Visiting hours will be held at Burns Funeral Home, 354 Boston Rd. (Rte. 3A) Billerica, Wednesday, June 26 from 4:00-7:00pm. Memorial Service from Burns Funeral Home on Thursday, June 27 at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica. Guestbook at www.burnsfuneralhomes.com
