Obituary of Collette L. (Bolger) Westphal

It is with great sadness that the family of Collette Leona Bolger Westphal announces her passing on Saturday, July 20, 2019  at the age of 81 after battling a long illness with Alzheimer’s disease.

Collette will be lovingly remembered as a devoted mother by her children, Collette Davison of Nashua, NH, Hilary & Richard Mochi of Winthrop, MA, Susan Westphal of Winthrop, MA, Valerie Westphal & her partner Michael Audesse of Alton Bay, NH, Walter Westphal of Easton, MA, Dennis Westphal and his wife Betsy Freshman of Canton, and Gary and Peggy Sue Westphal of Andover.  Collette was the sister of Francis Bolger of Wareham, Noel Bolger of Venice, FL, Michael Bolger of Brockton, and the late John Bolger, Edward Bolger, Rita Fitzpatrick, Mary Marcarelli, and Kevin Bolger. She was the cherished grandmother of Benjamin Steven and Alexandria Sukeforth, Isabel Love and Bridget Claire Westphal and cherished great grandmother of Adrian River Sukeforth.

Collette was born in 1938 in Cambridge to her beloved parents John and Elizabeth Bolger.  She graduated from Cambridge High & Latin High School.  Her greatest joy in life was her family and friends.

Visiting Hours will be held on Friday, July 26 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at John C. Burns & Sons Funeral Home, 305 Broadway, Cambridge, MA 02139. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 27 at 10:00 am at Saint Mary’s Church, 134 Norfolk Street, Cambridge, MA 02139
