Richard J. Philippon, age 66, died, after a brief illness, Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at his home in Billerica surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Eileen J. (Dolan) Philippon. He was born in Lewiston, Maine, the son of the late Cecilia M. (Chouinard) Philippon. Richard, a United States Navy Veteran, served on the USS Hazelwood. He retired from Polaroid Company in Waltham after 32 years as plumber. A resident of Billerica for over 30 years, he was a member of the Billerica Elks #2071. Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Kerri and Chuck Baker of Chelmsford, his three sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Lisa Philippon of Tyngsboro, Mike Philippon and Charlene Wooster of Chelmsford, and Steve and Cheryl Philippon of Billerica. He also leaves his 11 loving grandchildren.
