Still thinking of you, man. I often fail, but I try to be a better person. A better son, a better father, a better brother, better friend. I'm not so selfish to think that I could have changed the course of history if I had been a better friend to you. It's just that the fact remains that I'll never have the opportunity to, now. I'll never forget that you were the only person to visit me in the hospital when I had unexpected health issues. You clearly cared for the folks in your circle. I had my own struggles, and I'm sorry that I didn't make myself more available where I could have. I lost my grandmother recently and her passing along with yours have made me course correct my life in ways that have changed my relationships for the better. Though there's much work to be done on my end, I just want you to know that you've inspired positive change in my life. Today is my younger daughter's 7th birthday and I may not be here to celebrate if not for the positive change you helped to inspire. I love you, man. I pray for your family, particularly your little one, any time you cross my mind. Thanks for listening up there, I'll pay you a visit here again soon
-Al

I would rather spend one lifetime with you, than face all the ages of this world alone.

To the Colamartino Family and my Neice Ashlynne... My deepest heartfelt thoughts go out to you... pictures are worth a thousand words ... I never had the honour of meeting Dan, though I’m confident his brilliant smile will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

I still think of you often, especially if I’m passing through Arlington or Billerica. I pass by that gas station in Middleton we stopped at when I drove you to Peabody that last time I saw you and it makes me so sad. I pass by Kohei’s old apartment and it makes me feel so awful that we’ll never make each other laugh at his use of American slang with his thick Japanese accent. I wish I had been a better friend. It kills me to know you tried to reach me in the months before you passed. RIP brother

Daniel called me one winter day and mentioned he might stop by sometime I said sure! A few days later he arrives after a 3k drive to Oregon in his little red car w his hockey stick in tow letting me know he was downtown and here for a few month visit! I loved his adventuress spirit but as a mom I called our family to let them know he was in The Northwest. He spent time w his cousin Craig and everyone he met instantly loved him.
Dan returned again for a vacation w Auntie Judy myself and cousin Craig to the San Juan islands where we stayed onboard a boat/ bed and breakfast , visited friends in Annacortis Island and went sailing on a huge sailing vessel in Seattle.
How blessed we were to have shared these memories with him. He was so sweet smart and very funny.
Losing a family member, a young man in his prime, our “Cousin Dan” our heart aches while Heaven embraces our son, brother, father ,cousin, friend, hockey player.and adventurer.
We will love and miss you forever!!!
Auntie Jayne

Daniel will never be forgotten. I will always remember him as the sweet, kind child that he was. He will forever live in our hearts. I am assured that he is now a traveling angel waiting for the rest of his family and friends to join him one day.
I don't know that comforting words exist to relieve your pain... My prayers and wishes are that you will feel Daniel's love through God's arms.
My heart aches for you and your family.
With deapest sympathy!

Danielson, the world is a darker place without your light. I am so lucky to have had you in my life for 30 years. Your unconditional love was always reciprocated and never taken for granted. We’ll be dragging our kids to punk shows in my dreams. Always ❤️
