Shirley J. Attanasio, 88 years old, passed away from COVID on April 30, 2020. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. Daughter of the late Eileen Carvell O’Connell and George L. Rodgers. Sister of the late Eddie, Buddy, Larry, and Jack Rodgers and his wife Janet and their two children Jack and Dawn. Mother of Lawrence Attanasio and his wife Rita, Henry and his wife Colleen. Grandmother to Chris, Stacey, Keri, Joe, Jenny, Kyle, Melanie. Great-grandmother to Julianna, Gianna, Ariana, Bailey, Ronnie, JoJo, Brooklyn, Rose, Jesse, Blake, Braydyn. She was a lifelong resident of Cambridge and had a voice to be heard if it concerned her family. She devoted her life to her entire family. She was a retiree of New England Telephone and graduate of St. Mary’s High School. At the family’s request, the service will be private.
