Obituary of Kaitlyn Marie Ramey

Kaitlyn Marie Ramey

July 6, 1987 – Nov 6, 2020

Kaitlyn was born to the late Darlene Marie Johnston of Burlington and Ronald Thomas Ramey of Billerica. She was born in Dorchester.  However, she spent her life living in Lowell, Dracut, Fitchburg, Leominster, Barre, Sterling, and most recently Billerica.

Kaitlyn was avid lover and spirit; she was a devout Christian.  Above all, she was a mother first to her beloved and only child, Julian James Thomas O’Connor. Julian was her pride and joy and her reason for living. Throughout her many trials and tribulations of life, she always remained a warrior and ended up on top. She was strong beyond her understanding and because of such was always there for everyone over the years. She always left a mark for the better wherever she went and with whomever she touched. Kaitlyn enjoyed the arts, being outdoors hiking or simply enjoying the beauty, especially being near the water.

Kaitlyn is survived by her only son, Julian James Thomas O’Connor of Gardner; her brother, Christopher Ramey and his fiancée, Jessica Dern; her niece and goddaughter, Keira Ramey and her nephew, Thomas Ramey, all of Lowell; her nephew and godson, Nicholas Dumont of Pepperall, MA; and her life partner, Patrick Shaughnessy, Jr., originally of Billerica and his two children, Patrick Shaughnessy III, and Courtney Alexander. She also leaves her beloved and prized dog Phoenix and Patrick’s dog Lexi.
