Obituary of Eleanor M. Abisi

Eleanor M. Abisi, 83 years old, died on January 26, 2021 in Lowell, MA.

Born on March 23, 1937 in Woburn, she was the daughter of the late Edward Foster and Myrtle (Buckley) Foster. Eleanor grew up in Burlington and Billerica, graduating from Howe High School with the class of 1954. Later in life she lived in Lowell and finally Dracut where she retired from a long career with Raytheon. She is remembered for being a loving mother who took great care of her daughter. In her spare time, she took to Facebook in keeping up with friends, and finishing puzzles to stay sharp.

She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Abisi.

Eleanor is survived by her daughter, Eileen Call of Lowell; her son, Manuel Call and his wife Maria of Worcester; two brothers, Roger and Virginia Foster of Westford and Wayne and Louisa Foster of Plymouth; two grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She is also preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth, Walter, and Stanley Foster and two sisters, Priscilla Hyland (Foster) and Linda Stayman (Foster).

Visiting hours will be held Saturday, January 30, in the Burns Funeral Home, 354 Boston Rd., (Rt. 3A), Billerica from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Funeral service at 1:00pm.
