Obituary of Alan C. Martin

Alan C. Martin

Alan C. Martin passed away peacefully on September 23, 2021 at the age of 76.  He was born in Waltham MA on May 31, 1945.
He was the son of George and Alma (Engdahl) Martin.  He was the husband of Kathleen (Kay) McLennan Martin.  They shared 34
years of marriage together.  And with that marriage came his pride and joy, his daughter, Bonnie Martin.

Al was an electrician for all of his life.  He worked at a number of companies over the years.  Northrop Grumman and Sipex were
two of them.  He was a member of the First Congregational Church in Billerica.  He always gave a helping hand whenever needed.

He was an excellent cabinet maker and could build and fix everything from snow blowers, lawn mowers, and boat motors to coffee
makers, toasters and fans.  He was an avid reader.

Al spent his free time in the summers in Maine, enjoying the cabin he built with his father when he was 14 years old.   He also loved
playing golf which he enjoyed with his dear friends.  Another proud moment was getting a hole in one at Green Meadows Golf Course
on September 20, 2007.

Al was an honest, hardworking and generous man.  He was a dedicated and loving husband and father, brother, uncle and friend
that will be dearly missed and never forgotten and will live on in the hearts of those that loved him.

He is survived by his wife Kay and daughter Bonnie Martin.  And a little dog, Brady.  Also a stepson, Joseph Quinan.  Nephew Art (Tiger) Walsh, wife Lori and their daughter Riley. Also niece, Lisa Fougere Jones, her husband Trevor and her son Shi. He was
predeceased by his parents George and Alma Martin, his sister Susan Walsh and brother Douglas Martin.  He also had a step-
brother, Ron Martin and step-sisters, Norma LaRosee and Janet Silver.

The memorial service will be held on September 30th at 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 354 Boston Road.  Billerica MA.

May you now breathe easy and rest in peace, my dear Al.  I love you.   Kay
