Obituary of Ernest C Pelham

Pelham of Somerville, formerly of Cambridge, January 11, 2022, Ernest C. “Chuck” Pelham, age 90. Son of the late Ernest W. and Mary (Burke) Pelham. Beloved husband of the late Catherine T. (Farrell) Pelham. Devoted father of Michael Pelham, James and his wife Joanne Pelham of North Reading, Sandra Acenas of Arlington, Susan Marks and her late husband John of Somerville, Robert Pelham of Woburn, and the late Anne Marie Cox and her husband Robert of British Columbia Canada. Loving brother of the late James Pelham and the late Robert Pelham and his wife Teresa, Gail Geissler of Weymouth and Linda and her husband John Brietzke of Malden. Also survived by his brother in law Daniel and his wife Carleen Farrell, sister in law Anna and her husband Peter Pizzuto. Also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visiting hours Monday, January 17, at the John C. Burns & Sons Funeral Home, 305 Broadway, Cambridge. Funeral mass will be held Tuesday, January 18, at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph’s Church, 262 Washington St., Union Sq., Somerville. Relatives and friends invited. Ernest was a proud five times descendant of the Pilgrims who arrived aboard the Mayflower and a proud longtime member of Teamsters, mostly Local #25.
