Found out today that Britt has passed away. I can say our of all the people I've met in my life she was truly unique. It was truly a blessing to have known you and be friends. Rip peace the world is less without you.

I just today learned of the tragic and untimely passing of Britt. I knew her as an honest, straight shooting, caring and compassionate person, fiercely independent and self reliant to her core. I was living in the woods in North Cambridge at the time; she had many friends amongst the houseless of the area, and traveled freely, offering help, aid, or assistance in any way she could. We spent several days at one point setting up a whole new encampment for a mutual friend, and while she may not have been quite as familiar with the process, she worked her ass off, wasn't afraid to ask questions if she didn't know something, and took to whatever she set her mind and hand to like a champ. I regret I haven't spoken to her for a couple years. My heart absolutely aches for her family and I offer my sincerest and most heartfelt condolences. I did not know she was a licensed massage therapist and CNA. Nor was I aware of her work with the charity for musical instruments, but I will be making a donation to that organization in her name. You were loving and loved, Britt, and the world is a poorer place for your absence.

I am so sorry to hear of Brittany's passing. She was a sweet dear person. I enjoyed having her on our trip to London, England. Always first to help and that happy smile on her face made me smile. RIP Brit. Love Denise.

Brittany wanted to go to a protest in Canada against the NAFTA agreement at 15 and I told her I would take her months before the protest. I got out of work on a Friday and she asked if we could still go. I completely forgot about it. Her and I end going on a last minute trip to Canada. She was so passionate about it and I couldn't say no. We had an interesting trip. Tear gas and all. I'll never forget all of my great memories with my little sister and I love her with all my heart. I will miss her dearly. She is with God now and at peace. Thank you for all your love and prayers.

I have such wonderful memories of hanging with Britt around fires and on our many 3am walks to nowhere talking about nothing. She was always the sweetest most thoughtful friend, the world has lost a true angel.

My heart breaks for the loss of Britt. My Uncle Dave and Aunt Annette were so good to me when I was a scared 18-year-old attending college in Boston many years ago. They took me in and I quickly developed great relationships with my cousins Cara, Jacque and Britt. Britt was the baby of the family and I immediately took a liking to her beautiful spirit. She was such a lovable goofball and had such a great sense of humor. I hadn’t seen her for over 20 years when I found out about her passing. I will miss her dearly and I hope that she is at peace. Love to all of Britt’s family and may god watch over them.
