Sharon - What a beautiful and kind soul you were. We met in Atlanta, where we instantaneously connected - 2 girls from Boston and Brooklyn, so far from our roots, raising our young children in the '80's. Spending time with you was such fun, and I admired how you always put Kristin and Nicky first. You were so proud of them, their accomplishments, and their own loved ones. I loved hearing your compassionate voice at the other end of the phone, knowing you listened and cared deeply, but were not afraid to open up about your own life. We had laughs together, you cracked me up with your sense of humor! What I prized most was that you never forgot where you came from, you knew who you were, humble yet confident. Thank you for asking me to be your Confirmation sponsor at St Benedicts in '89, and also for your visit to Houston in 2002 when life was giving us both challenges. You were so brave and let me see that new doors could open up for us. You were so sweet to always take the time to send Easter, Mother's Day cards in an era when everyone is so busy. Love the pics of little Heidi too. I have missed you over the past few years but know that your adventurous spirit continues on in heaven. Dear friend, my condolences and thoughts are now with Andrew and all your family. - Lynn

Sharon, you’ve been in my life since the fourth grade. You’re like a sister to me. You’ve always been kind, compassionate, and so thoughtful. You were a great nurse, taking your patients from a halfway house home for dinner or out for an ice cream so they would feel like they were part of a family. You would send out cards to to let people know you’re thinking of them. I have so many funny memories of going to games at Fenway Park, concerts at Harvard Stadium, or weekends at my grandparents house in Sudbury. So many great times now cut short. I’ll miss you more than you can know. You always ended our phone Calls with “I love you” . Well, I Love You Sharon !! I will hopefully see you again in heaven because I know you’re already there.

I’ve known Sharon since childhood days in Brighton, MA. She was the dearest best friend of my sister, Donna, since elementary school. Sharon was a part of our family. She always sent Mother’s Day, birthday, and Christmas cards to our mom, Dot Beard, and mom considered her one of her girls. Sharon was the kindest, sweetest, thoughtful, unselfish person in the world. To learn of her death has been devastating. We will miss her more than words can say. We love you Sharon!! You’ll be in our hearts forever. Until we meet in heaven. ❤️❤️❤️

So sorry to hear of your mom's passing. Although I knew her only for a short time when y'all lived in Roswell, her obituary says it all. She was very friendly and outgoing. She never met a stranger. Everyone was just a friend she hadn't met, and although it's been years since your departure from Roswell, I still feel like we could pick up right where we left off, like she never left.
