Dear Claire, Paul, Chrissy, and Michelle. I wish with all of my heart that I had gotten to know Steve better. My heart breaks for all of you. I pray every day for all of you but especially for Steve. I should have been a better "uncle" but I simply wasn't. May God forgive me.

I have known Steve for 11 years now. Lived directly next to him. He was a good hardworking man. It's still hard to believe. He would ALWAYS help anyone who needed it. He loved his family. He loved his daughter and Mother especially. And Conor McGregor! Lol he loved his UFC. He sent me a picture of himself with his mom and daughter not long ago. And he was so proud of the photo. RIP STEVE

To the family of Steve, we had the joy of getting to know Steve in the last two years as he helped build our forever home. We visited the site often and came to realize what a kind soul he was. He was a hard worker and built us a beautiful home in which our family can make many special memories. It was obvious he cared a great deal. We loved seeing him. He will be sorely missed but we know his energy lives on in our home. Our hearts and hugs are with you all. Beth and Rich Compson

Steve was such a special person, we were lucky to have met him. Such a thoughtful and kind soul - often through small, meaningful gestures. Steve was a giver, looking out for the people around him. He leaves us with many warm memories (and some funny ones) that we will keep forever. Steve, Rest In Peace, our love will be with you always. Rich and Beth

Stevie, I wish I was there for you. I’ll cherish our memories together. Watching you play little league, your play at the plate was still one of the best I’ve ever seen. I got you a dirt bike for it!. The Van Halen concert. Weekend down the Cape with my friends. Batting cage’s. Riding around in my jeep you
loved, and Camaro. Our secret hand shake. And all our other times together. I’ll miss you. Love Uncle Joe
