Obituary of Jenny Ripley

Jenny Ripley, 91
Jenny (Santoro), Ripley (wife of the late Robert G. Ripley, Sr.), died Wednesday evening, August 17, 2022 at Sunny Acres Legacy Care, Chelmsford, MA  She was 91.  
Mother of Roberta G. Tilley of Chester, NH; Susan M. Scannelli of Everett, MA; Robert G. Ripley, Jr. of Falmouth, MA; Sharon L. Ripley of Lowell, MA; and Linda Jean Ripley of Reading, MA.  Deceased sisters include Josephine Walsh, Mary Antonowich, Ersilia Natalia Kendrick, and Roseann Alongi.  Surviving sister is Carmela L. Sherren of West Bridgewater.  Numerous nieces, nephews, 7 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.  
Jenny was a retired RN having served over 50 years, getting her start in the kitchen at Massachusetts General Hospital.  Retiring from nursing she stayed active volunteering her services to take blood pressures and administering flue shots.  
Calling hours will be held  Wednesday, August 24, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Burns Funeral Home, 354 Boston Road, (Rt. 3A), Billerica, MA  01821.  Funeral service and burial will be for immediate family members only.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jenny’s Memory to Chelmsford Bible Church, 128 Gorham Street, Chelmsford, MA  01824
