Obituary of Frank V. Gages Jr.

Frank (Frankie) V. Gages, Jr., of Cambridge and Arlington, died suddenly on October 1, 2022. He was the son of the late Frank V. Sr., and Marjorie (Hemenway) Gages. Loving brother of Marcia O’Brien and her husband, Lawrence of Somerville. Loving and devoted uncle of Lawrence F. and Alan J. O’Brien of Somerville. Also survived by his aunt, Alice Gibson of Colorado and many cousins in NY, CO, and CA.

Lifelong friend of Dave and Bev Griffiths. Friend of Natalie O’Brien, Donald York, and Jackie Miller. Also leaves his “nephews”, Chris and Mike Piscopo.

Retired from the Cambridge Public Library after 40+ years. Frank’s favorite pastime was playing cards with family and friends.

Funeral from the John C. Burns & Sons Funeral Home, 305 Broadway, Cambridge, Friday, October 7, 2022, at 9:00am followed by a funeral mass in St. Mary’s Church, 134 Norfolk St., Cambridge at 10:00am.
