Obituary of Cheryl Ann Marland

Marland of Billerica, October 29, 2022, Cheryl Ann (Wyviorka) Marland, age 68, died at her home in Billerica surrounded by her loving family, after a long illness.  She was the beloved wife of Frederick W. Marland, Jr. She was born April 6, 1954, the daughter of the late Joseph and Jeanette Wyviorka. Cheryl graduated from Hinsdale High School in Olean, New York and went on to Highland Hospital School of Nursing (Rochester, NY), graduating as a Licensed Registered Nurse in 1976. Cheryl worked as a registered nurse with at Lahey Clinic Hospital, Winchester Hospital, Pediatric Home Health Care, Town of Billerica Public Health Nurse, Masonic Home Health Care services and a nurse in the Billerica Public Schools. Cheryl was a dedicated wife, mother, grammy, and sister. She dearly loved spending time with her grandchildren, making a difference in their lives. She always enjoyed traveling far and wide during her free time. She was also recognized for her outstanding service as the Billerica Public Health nurse. Besides her husband, she is survived by her devoted daughters, Tracy Lynne (Marland) Cagnina of Billerica and Kimberly Ann (Marland) Bradley of Haverhill and her husband, Matthew. Her five loving grandchildren, Chloe Marie Cagnina, Juliana Darling Cagnina, Laelynn Marland Bradley, Owen Matthew Bradley and Ethan Joseph Bradley.  Her sisters, Elaine Loomis of Rochester, NY and Mary Jo Wyviorka of Olean, NY. Her son -in-law, Rick Cagnina. She was also loved by many nieces, nephews, and friends of the extended family. Funeral service in the Burns Funeral Home, 354 Boston Rd., (Rt. 3A), Billerica, Thursday, November 3, at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours, Wednesday, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Cheryl’s name to the Boston Children’s Hospital. Interment, Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica. www.burnsfuneralhomes.com
