Obituary of Brian Monahan

Brian Monahan, age 49, of Lexington, formerly of Waltham, died peacefully, Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at MGH Hospital in Boston after a lengthy illness. Born in Waltham, he was the devoted son of the late Brian T. and Agnes (McLaughlin) Monahan. Brian was passionate about education and was  a graduate of Boston College, Boston College Law and Harvard’s Kennedy School. He is survived by his wife Rhonda L. Casterlin, his three loving children; his daughters, Keira and Madeline and his step son, Matt French. He was the beloved brother of Jacqueline Monahan and her husband, John Coy and Ruth George and her husband, Edward George. He is also survived by many nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Graveside service will be held Monday, December 19, at Calvary Cemetery, 250 High St., Waltham at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited.
