I grew up in Pinehurst down the street from the Hillis family. Was good friends with young Bobby. Lost touch with them over then years, as so often happens. He was a good man with a wonderful family.
I remember Bobby Hillis as a friend and neighbor. He actually painted our house back in the late 70's. Ironically we never changed the color until just this year, that tells you what a great job he did. He was a funny guy with a great sense of humor. He had the most amazing Doberman dogs that kept the young kids off his lawn lol. He will always be remembered and we missed him when he moved away. May you rest in peace old friend.
