Shirley J. Robicheau

Longtime resident of Billerica, 88

Billerica – Shirley J. Robicheau, age 88, went to the lord on March 28, 2023. She was the wife of predeceased John Robicheau. Shirley was born on March 14,1935 in New London, CT.  Daughter of the late John and Helen McLellan. She was a devoted and loving mother of Pamela Johnson and her husband Kenneth of Tyngsboro, Linda Nunes and her husband David of Billerica, Susan Robicheau and Arthur Hood of Sanford, Maine. Her beloved grandchildren Kenneth Johnson II and partner Chiva Sok, Kayleigh Johnson, Rebekah Nunes, Daniel Robicheau and his wife Kimberly, David Robicheau, Katie Hood, Arthur J. Hood, three great grandchildren Jack Johnson, Arthur Johnson, Kia Robicheau and many nieces and nephews. Shirley worked as a hairdresser for many years and later worked and retired as an assembler at Raytheon.  She enjoyed cooking, traveling, crocheting, and most importantly she devoted her life to making people laugh through jokes.   Shirley was a woman of strong religious faith and very devoted to her church.  Shirley would always respond as “Blessed by the best” whenever anyone asked how she was doing.  A celebration of life for Shirley will be held at Immanuel Church, 301 Boston Rd, Chelmsford, MA 01824 on April 15, 2023 11:00 am. All are welcome.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Shirley’s name may be made to her favorite charities: Shriners children, St. Jude’s, and Wounded Warrior Project.  In keeping with Shirley’s love of making people laugh we are asking loved ones and friends to bring a written joke.  All will be collected in a basket.  These will then be made into a book dedicated to Shirley and donated to Lowell General Hospital to help continue spreading these smiles.
