Susan A. (Pasciuto) Urro, aka Suzie, passed peacefully on Thursday morning, April 6, in her home surrounded by her family. Born in 1925, she had 97 wonderful years. Born of immigrants from Italy. She met and married Joseph Urro in 1947. They spent 64 years together working and raising a family. She leaves behind three children, Linda Matte and her husband Moe, Carmina Lolley and her husband Robert, and Frank J. Urro; eight grandchildren, Stephanie Freeman and her husband Bill, Derek Matte and his wife Emily, Adam Lolley and his wife Karron, Dianna Dumont and her husband Greg, Evan Lolley and his wife Liz, Coltin Urro, Hayden Urro, and Logan Urro; seven great-grandchildren, Justin Freeman, Dylan Freeman, Kaleb Lolley, Mellanie Lolley, Eleanor Matte, Nicholas Lolley, and Benjamin Lolley, and one great-great-grandchild Penelope.
She worked at Shawsheen Valley Technical High School student cafeteria, she was the owner of The House of Gowns in Billerica for 25 years, and she was a member of the Billerica Spools quilting group.
She loved to cook and clean but was the happiest when taking care of her family. Sunday dinners surrounded by her family was her "happy" place.
She leaves us with the ability to stand on our own, with open hearts and minds, and a smile that lights up the world.
