Obituary of Claire M. Marchesi

Claire M. (Myers) Marchesi, age 96. Beloved wife of the late Ernest A. Marchesi.  Daughter of Ellen (Kehoe) and Phillip Myers of Charlestown, mother of Claire Moore-Rosa and her husband, Michael Rosa of Billerica, Marie Marchesi of Billerica and the late Ernest P. Marchesi. Sister of the late Joanna, Phillip, Ruthie, Nellie and Frances. Loving grandmother of Tiffany Farmer and her husband, Phil, George Moore, Jr., Jeffrey Moore, Jared Moore and Brittany Moore and her husband, Ricardo DeSouza. Great grandmother of Rylan, Ashlan and Lachlan Farmer. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews. Claire was born and raised in Charlestown, MA and was a true “Townie”.  She was an avid swimmer and enjoyed swimming off the Charlestown piers in her younger years.  She worked many years for John Hancock and was a lifetime homemaker.  She loved going to Foxwoods, Mohegan Sun and Encore in her later years.  She was her husband Ernie’s biggest fan, always loving to listen to him play the piano.  Funeral from the Burns Funeral Home, 354 Boston Rd., (Rt. 3A), Billerica, Monday, May 15, at 9:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish in St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica, at 10:00 AM., visiting prior to mass in the Burns Funeral Home, from 9:00 to 9:45 AM.
