In her final years, Denise cherished her time living with her grandchildren, especially her "three besties", Christopher Jr., Elizabeth, and Abigail, who lovingly cared for her. Her daughter Denise and son-in-law Christopher Sr. also provided unwavering support and cherished the time spent with her, listening to her life stories and experience.  She also enjoyed visits and additional care from her daughter Maryann.
