Obituary of Margaret Ann Aquaro

On August 3rd 2023, Margaret-Ann Aquaro got her wings and went to walk with the angels.  She was born on June 27, 1943, in Hackensack, NJ to Charles and Bernice (Allard) Allen. 

 

Margaret-Ann was the beloved wife of Robert J. Aquaro, Sr. with whom she shared 49 years of marriage. In addition to her husband, Margaret-Ann is survived by her children: Matthew Aquaro and his wife, Melody of Danvers,  Michele Rumley and her husband, Todd of Billerica, Sean Aquaro and his wife Millie of Gilford, NH. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Christopher, John, Madeline, Alexandria and Michael. Margaret-Ann was predeceased by her son Robert J. Aquaro, Jr. and her grandson, Matthew F. Aquaro. 

 

Margaret-Ann was an active participant in the local churches and had a strong connection to her Catholic faith. She enjoyed her time volunteering at the Billerica Senior Center and giving back to her community. 

 

Margaret-Ann worked for over 30 years for Lexington Public Schools in various positions. One of the highlights of her retirement was traveling throughout New England with her husband and their motor home group.

 

Family, friends and others whose lives Margaret-Ann touched are invited to BURNS FUNERAL HOME 354 Boston Road, (Rt. 3A), Billerica, from 4:00pm - 7:00pm on Thursday, August 10,.  Funeral Mass will be held, Friday, August 11, at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish in St. Theresa's Church, 466 Boston Road, Billerica, at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends invitied.  Interment, Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to be made in Margaret-Ann's name:
