Obituary of Sandra J. Lee

Sandra Joan (Neiss) Lee, age 81 of Billerica, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on September 17, 2023.

Sandra was born in Somerville to the late George “Berry” and Evelyn Neiss of Billerica and Moultonboro, NH on July 16, 1942. She went to Billerica Memorial High School and graduated in 1960. She was a member of the Red Hatters and enjoyed traveling especially to Myrtle Beach, SC. She also enjoyed quilting at the Billerica Council of Aging where she met some great friends. During her last year, Sandra loved serving pasta at the Billerica Boys & Girls Club of Greater Billerica with the Sunshine Gals.

Sandra is survived by her son Robert Lee and his wife Linda of Lowell and her daughter Jaime Lee of Billerica. She was the former wife of William (Bill) Lee of Billerica and Otisfield, ME.

She was the loving Gramma to Kevin Lee and his wife Nicole Poulter of Newton, Morgan Joslin and her husband Steve of Lunenburg, Parker Jackson and Leah Jackson of Billerica. She was also adored by her great grandsons Alex, Logan and Camden Joslin and soon to be Baby Boy Poulter-Lee.

Sandra was the loving sister to Helen Bunney of Billerica and Nancy Solomon of Hudson, NH and two very best friends Carol Leibovitz of Billerica and Karen Scalley of Tewksbury.

Also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. She would like to leave everyone with this piece of advice – “If it looks good from Burlington, it’s perfect”!

Funeral Mass will be held, Friday, September 22, at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish in St. Andrew’s Church, 45 Talbot Ave., Billerica at 10:00 AM, relatives and friends invited. Interment, Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
