Obituary of Brian D. Delmore

Brian D. Delmore, age 55, passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 10, 2023, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

He was born in Winchester, MA, on June 4, 1968, a beloved son of John Delmore and the late Joan Delmore. He was raised in Billerica, and later resided in Chelmsford.

Brian graduated from Billerica Memorial High School in 1987. From there he was a dedicated employee at Copart Salvage Auto Auctions for 24 years. Brian was known for his generous heart, spending a majority of his free time volunteering at the local nursing homes with hospice and memory care patients. He was consistently putting others before himself; from donating to charitable foundations, to dropping off food to those in need; he was always looking for ways to improve people’s lives.

Every night he would travel around the town to his adopted families, including The Duggan’s, The Reardon’s, The Toce’s, and his closely cherished Copart Family.

He was a passionate fan of sports and music, especially the Cleveland Browns, and bands like Pantera, Slayer and Metallica.

Besides his father, Brian is survived by his brother Sean Delmore of Billerica, close friends, and God daughters, Kendra Duggan and Amanda Reardon.

He was also a faithful communicant of the Catholic Church. Brian will be remembered as being kind hearted, hard working, strong-minded, and most importantly… the greatest friend.

He was a gift to everyone who had the honor of meeting him.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday October 13, 2023 from 4-7pm at Burns Funeral Home, 354 Boston Road, Billerica, MA. 01821. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday October 14, 2023 at 10 am at St. William’s Church 1351 Main St, Tewksbury, MA 01876. Burial at Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
