Obituary of Christine Mulligan

NASHUA - Christine (Kling) Mulligan, age 71, of Nashua, NH, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023, peacefully at the High Pointe House, surrounded by her loving family, following an extended battle with lung cancer. Born on July 19, 1952, Christine was the daughter of the late Frederick and Helen Kling. She lived in Billerica for most of her life before moving to Nashua 8 years ago. She was the loving wife of Michael Mulligan, with whom she shared 49 years of beautiful marriage. Christine was a Manufacturing Test Technician for most of her professional career. She happily stayed home to raise her son for 15 years before returning back to work. She eventually retired in 2020 to have more time to enjoy her family and her many different hobbies. Some of her favorite activities included gardening and interior home design. Christine was very creative, and had a profound ability to make those around her feel special and loved. Besides her husband she is survived by her son, Michael Mulligan Jr. and his fiancée Angela, of Nashua, NH. She was predeceased by her sister Maryann Martell in 2018. Chris is also survived by her sister, Karen Goodwin and her husband Herman of The Villages, Florida; sister, Frances Wozniak and her husband Thomas of Lyndeborough, NH; sister, Lorraine Fabbo and her husband James of The Villages, Florida; sister, Eleanor Murray of Nashua, NH; brother, Francis Kling and his wife Kelly of Milford, NH; brother, Frederick Kling and his wife Christine of East Falmouth; brother, Gerald Kling and his wife Carol of Center Ossipee, NH; brother-in- law Daniel Martell, of Tewksbury and many loving, nieces, nephews and cousins. A  Funeral Blessing will be held Friday, December 8, at St. Theresa Church, Billerica at 10:00 AM. A reception will follow at the Billerica Elks Lodge.
