Carbone, Jr. of Hudson, Genevieve Scanlon of Medford, Stephanie Bettencourt and her husband John of Somerville, Michael Carbone and his wife Jean of Somerville, Thomas Carbone of Cambridge, Peter Carbone and his wife Mary of Medford, and the late Barbara Mercado. Sister of Julia Shimkus of Cambridge. Also survived by 14 loving grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson. Funeral from the John C. Burns & Sons Funeral Home, 305 Broadway, Cambridge, Wednesday, September 1, at 9:00 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Mary's Church, Cambridge, at 10:00 a.m. Relatives & friends invited.
