Obituary of Elias David Ortiz

It is with profound sadness that I share the passing of my beloved father, Elias David Ortiz, who passed away peacefully on May 24, 2024, at the age of 84. Surrounded by his loving family and friends in his final moments, he was a man of immense humor and wisdom, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones. Elias was very passionate about his life. His unwavering spirit will forever be remembered by everyone he encountered. Elias was a devoted and beloved husband of the late Felicita DeJesus Santiago. He was the son of the late Carlos David Reyes and Maria Ortiz Colon. He was survived by his daughters Jacqueline David, from Milford, MA, Margarita David, and son-in-law Herby Pierre, from Billerica, MA. Aleta Davidson from San Antonio, Texas and Orabelle Ortiz from Las Vegas, NV. His sons are Elias David Jr. from Las Vegas, NV, and Hector M. Torres from New York. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and many other friends, family, and his partners, always his Dogs, Lucy and Leo.  We will continue to honor his legacy by living our lives to the fullest. He was loved deeply and will be missed immensely. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, June 4, in the Burns Funeral Home, 354 Boston Rd. (Rt. 3A), Billerica, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
