Obituary of Doris T. Ready

Doris T. Ready (Frangos), 88, of Cambridge, MA passed away on June 25, 2024 in Medford, MA. 
Funeral service will be held at Burns Funeral Home (354 Boston Rd, Billerica, MA 01821) on July 1, 2024 at 10:00 AM. Visitation will be held on June 30, 2024 from 12:00 – 3:00 PM. 
Doris was born in Cambridge, MA to Nick & Clara Frangos on April 14, 1936. She went to high school at Cambridge Rindge & Latin. She worked as a waitress at the Café Escadrille for 25 years where she met many of her closest friends. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends in Woburn, MA and Clearwater, FL. 
Doris was the devoted wife of 52 years to the late James Ready.  She is survived by her loving daughter, Lynn Graham and her Husband James of Billerica, MA.  Yaya was a loving grandmother to Daniel Graham of Medford, MA.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Doris was predeceased by her son Richard.  Sisters Poppy Rubera, Dolly Imire, Stella Bonitatibus, brother’s Leo and George Frangos, and sister-in-law Jeannie.
In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Greater Boston Food Bank.
