To whom it may concern:
We were very proud of Ritchie when we heard he was a paratrooper and had gone to Korea to defend his country and others.
He was very brave when he did that even though it was a most difficult thing to do.
Ritchie was a devoted brother and member of our family who always considered us before himself.
We know his family's safety was always his priority and others that he may not even know
That he is looking down from heaven to those whom he loved so .
Love Donald and Lorraine Rogers and their four Daughters, Valerie,Dawna,Jeanne and Toni and their families.

When Uncle Ritchie learned I was a coin collector (I may have been eight years old) he showed me how to order proof sets from the US mint, and set a ginormous bottle of old wheat pennies in front of me and said I could look through them and take whatever dates I was missing for my folders. I still have those pennies, btw. Rest in peace, Uncle Ritchie. And thank you for the wonderful memories. - Cousin Eddie
