To me, Donna is more than a Friend, she is a SISTER, she is Family, as all of you are... I hold so many cherished memories, in my heart.. Through these 55+ years of friendship, we've shared so many good times, with lots of laughter. ( I can still hear, the "HONK" in her laughter)...and we stood strong, through the not so good times.
We were both, so excited while planning her trip to come stay with me for as long as she wanted, when she was better. Her room was ready...She was fighting so, so hard to make this happen. Her words... "Im tryin' Dee, I'm tryin"
I, like all of you, have a shattered heart...just completely devastated. I truly, share your pain and feel your loss. Like you, I am still trying to convince myself, through this shock, she is in a better place, which of course, we know she is yet, my heart, like yours, and all whom love her, just weren't ready for her to go ....
I know, she is free of pain, free of fear, and surrounded with love, in the arms of her Shane, Mom, Papa, all her loved ones whom went before her, and she has seen the face of Jesus. If it had to be, how glorious is that thought.
She will, remain in my heart, til my last breath is taken. I love you dearly Donna and will forever miss you... You were the BEST of the BEST!!!
