Obituary of Vincent C. Cannizzaro

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we are mourning the passing of Vincent (Vincenzo) Charles Cannizzaro.  He passed away peacefully at the Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln MA on November 26, 2024 at the age of 88.  Vincent was the second child and son born to Giovanna (Jean Williams) and Vincenzo Cannizzaro of Medford MA.   As a youth he enlisted in the Marine Core and proudly served his country.  After his service in the Marines, he entered Franklin Technical Institute and earned his Associate degree in Engineering.  He married his wife, Joan, of 66 years, during his time in college.   They had raised 5 children.  While raising his children, he decided to earn his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and proudly graduated from the University of Lowell.  Vincent worked at Charles T Maine for several years and in his later years worked for Stone and Webster. He retired from Engineering and drove a school bus for the local schools until his early 80’s.

Vincent is survived by his loving wife, Joan, his beloved dog Cochise of Billerica, Ma.   He has five children:  Donna Bradley and D’Ann Cannizzaro of Billerica MA, Denise Keane of Loveland Ohio, Darleen Crisileo of Canton MA, and his son Vincent Cannizzaro Jr. of Pelham NH.   Vincent has 12 grandchildren with one of his grandchildren that predeceased his passing. He also has 14 great grandchildren. Vincent was one of 4 children and he is survived by his sister Frances D’Orsi of Derry NH and John Williams of Milford NH.
