A great man and an even better friend. I wish I could tell you how many hours I spent in the kitchen of Joe’s pizza and even more how many pizza’s I have eaten from Joe’s pizza in my lifetime. Back in the 70’s I would take Ritchie and the Remare brothers out fishing and then pull my 10 lobster traps and cook everything that night ( of course Ritchie did the cooking) it was delicious! We had many laughs and a lot of memories! He was such a good man who loved his family and his many friends! I retired and moved to Florida but I’ll never forget Ritchie and Joe’s Pizza . I’m sure he’s making pizza’s up in haven and at some point we’ll all be eating pizza’s together again! God bless you my friend! Bill Charette

I have many fond memories of Richie dating back to Lubec St in East Boston! That was many years ago. I always remember him as a kind and gentle soul and with a smile. He is in my thoughts and prayers

My thoughts & prayers are with your family. I have known your Dad Richie since I was a child, going for pizza with my Dad & all my brothers at the original Joe’s Pizza spinning around on the red stools at the counter. My children Nicole & Heather loved him too, even my grandson Luke loved the pizza! He was always happy smiling, so caring, friendly and helpful asking how we are all doing and how's my Mom & Dad. So many fun memories, jokes and delicious Pizza made with care and with anything we wanted on it!! Will never forget !! Love & smiles to all of you and prayers for Richie.
