I was one of the lucky ones who was able to call Alice Schofield my friend. She was one-of-a-kind, smart (math-whiz), funny, and dedicated to her family and friends. For 10 years, I had the pleasure of working with Alice at WGBH, and can't think of one day that went by when I didn't stand in her office an share a laugh about something, or listen to her talk about her passion for photography, cooking, or travel. She had a great perspective on life, and was able to withstand any adversity. I will miss her dearly. My deepest condolences to her sister, Greta, her nieces, and her father.
