Carol (Petersen) Bruyere, age 83, died Sunday, November 21, 2010 at Academy Manor Nursing Home in Andover. She was the beloved wife of the late George R. Bruyere. She was born in Woburn, May 7, 1927, daughter of the late Robert and Marjorie (Neville) Petersen. The director and teacher at the Faulkner Kindergarten Preschool in North Billerica for many years, Mrs. Bruyere was a member of the Billerica Historical Society, a Girl Scout leader, and an active member of the North Billerica Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jane Duboff and her husband Jeffrey, of North Andover, her brother, John Petersen of Nashua, NH, and her three loving grandchildren, Anna and Joy Duboff and Nicole Langelier. She was also the mother of the late Valorie Langelier.
