I am so very sorry for your loss. Although I did not know Alec, as a parent I can imagine the pain you must feel. For this reason I want to express my sympathy and share a few words of encouragement. Psalm 34:18 says that God is near to those broken at heart and he saves those crushed in spirit. Isaiah 25:8 mentions a time when soon He will swallow up death forever and wipe all the tears from our faces. It is my desire that you will find comfort and hope from these thoughts.
