Takeko A. Malinowski, the beloved wife of MSG Edwin J. Malinowski, U.S. Army, died peacefully on Saturday, January 8, 2011 in the presence of her loving family. She was a longtime resident of North Billerica. Born in Yonezawa, Japan on November 24, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Kikuji and Sano Katahiva. She met her husband and lifelong companion on December 31, 1950 in Japan. She was the devoted mother of Mary F. Tanenbaum, who resides in New Milford, CT with her husband Steven E. Tanenbaum. She also leaves her two grandchildren, Michelle T. O'Hara and Daniel H. Tanenbaum, and several nieces and nephews.
